Overall Satisfaction with Network for Good
Network for Good is used at our office as a donor management system. Staff that interacts with donors and volunteers use the system. Network for Good helps us keep a history of all donations, donors, and volunteers, plus the interactions that the staff members have with them.
- It is very simple to enter donations and donor information into the Network for Good system.
- We needed a way to track "soft credits" in our donor management system, and once we discussed this with the Network for Good staff, they updated the system to allow us to track "soft credits," and the process of tracking them is very simple.
- If we have a question on how to use anything in the system, there are many how-to guides and videos that are easy to find. If the guides or videos do not help, the staff are available very quickly to help us troubleshoot our problem.
- When using the events tools, it is sometimes difficult to get images to line up correctly and can take a long time to make it look visually appealing.
- When sending a personalized video to a donor, it automatically defaults to a cell phone if the donor has one listed (unless we remember to click send email). We had a few donors ask us to stop sending text messages, but there was no way to update that in their account except by writing a note.
- We track our volunteer hours in Network for Good, but we had to build a custom field in order to do this. It would be nice if volunteer hours/tracking was not a custom field (volunteers are donating their time).
- Fundraising pages for me to use for my events
- The notes section for me to track our "donor touches." This is any contact we make with donors to help build our relationships.
- Being able to add our donation and track when we acknowledge them and if they are sent digitally being able to see when the donor opens the acknowledgment.
- We are a non profit that thrives on the relationships that we make with donors and a database is only as good as the data that is in it. Network for Good makes it easy for us to track donations as well as communications with donors so we can keep our relationships strong.
We used GiftWorks in the past and Network for Good s much easier to use and easier to train new staff to use.
