Use Cases and Deployment Scope

We use ON24 as a platform to educate existing clients (about both strategy and our company's role in the execution of that strategy) - as well as a tool to engage with prospects and generate new leads.

Pros and Cons

Cloud-based webinar/presentation hosting. Enables us to focus on what's important (our content) versus being diverted by issues of technology. We don't share our screen (like other webinar platforms), we actually run a real-deal stable presentation in the cloud.
Metrics. Great to see who engages with the presentation and how and to score their interest in a meaningful way.
On-demand and archived content. Being able to let our presentation work for us in the long tail, priceless.

Integration to CRM & Marketing Automation

ON24 integrates with Salesforce, enabling us to track engagement with our presentation/webinars through our primary sales CRM.

Reliability and Availability

Reliability is everything. In the past, with previous providers, really the solution has been to share a screen while playing a PPT. That's not a platform, that's a hack. If the Powerpoint freezes or other such issue, we're out of luck. ON24 is an actual webinar platform with consistency and reliability -- it's actually the only type I am aware of -- and its reliability is everything.

Citrix

Citrix sucks. ON24 doesn't.

Likelihood to Recommend

I work in an industry in which presentations are a significant aspect of business development and marketing. ON24 enables us to cover the distance and connect with clients and prospects around the world, easily, and to feel comfortable using stable technology to do this. We then have the ability to measure the impact of our comms with these folks - and take next steps based on actual data.

I can't think of any room for improvement or ways in which ON24 would be less appropriate. I love it.

ON24 is the only way to go, I mean it.
