Overall Satisfaction with Oracle BI Foundation Suite
The Oracle BI is used for enterprise reporting where the business already has other Oracle EBS software. Mostly it addresses operatation reporting and sometimes analytics needs.
- Fast response time on reports
- Ease of generating report
- Ease of managing access to the reports
- The model is strictly star and there is no exception
- Too many layers between reporting service and database, so query generated is totally whacky
- The reporting data flow is not seamless and needs lots of hard coding
The only reason why someone would go for Oracle BI is for the price advantage. 95% of the time the suite is selected just because of price point.
