Overall Satisfaction with Oracle Eloqua

Right now Eloqua is being used by one department to fulfill a subset of email campaigns. Given the current challenges in our implementation it's difficult to say with certainty to what extent it is addressing business problems
  • Eloqua's canvas interface makes it easy in theory to stand up new campaigns quickly for no technical users.
  • The email as a primary key issue if a massive headache
  • There are extremely narrow limitations on how complex criteria from custom data can be
  • Eloqua's near inability to handle try concept of a customer having multiple email addresses makes it nearly unusable in some areas.
Scalability really isn't an issue. As long as you have the time to create the campaigns you can do it.
  • Our implementation challenges have not yet yielded large scale benefits
Well suited for: Simple campaign logic on top of a flat data structure with low data sync needs
