I have been using Outbound Engine for 3 years to keep in touch and top of mind with my clients and sphere of influence. In the real estate industry, 90%+ of clients said they would use the same realtor again if they could recall their name. Since there are on average 10 years between purchases, unless you can stay top of mind, clients tend to forget over that time.
Pros
- Outbound Engine allows me to stay top of mind with my sphere of influence, which allows for more referrals and repeat business.
- It also helps establish me as a trusted adviser/subject matter expert with the relevant content they provide.
Cons
- It's easier to request reviews immediately after adding a contact. Many times we have to wait until the person has connected, etc.
- I have had at least one or two sales a year as people have replied to the email campaign with real estate inquiries that led to sales. So with hard numbers, I can say I have at least doubled my investment.
- There must be other instances where I did not tie it back but did get business, because the service helped me stay top of mind with my sphere of influence
