Overall Satisfaction with Podio

  • Great for use as a CRM
  • Great for managing projects
  • Very easy to learn and very flexible
  • Great customer service
  • Continual development of features
  • Podio is somewhat limited when it comes to complex functionality, however they are beginning to address that with their "Workflows" feature. Still, it's crucial that each user know what is expected of them, such as which fields or apps are their responsibility to maintain
  • The iPhone app needs to be easier to navigate
  • At $9/user/month this is a great deal. It has lead to huge gains in efficiency around work flows.
  • Having detailed and easily searchable info on all sales leads and all projects leads to better customer service
  • Podio is beginning to benefit us in terms of cross-selling. Now that there is greater transparency across departments it's easier for people to see opportunities with customers that others are already working with
It has become an indispensable tool. After we stopped relying on internal e-mails, spreadsheets, post-it notes and lots of hope and stress we couldn't believe we had ever worked that way.
Podio is very flexible, have a look at their app market to see all of the various functions people are using it for. It's similar to a spreadsheet in that it's useful for engineering calculations as well as accounting tasks and numerous other applications.
