Overall Satisfaction with Recoverit

Why do people pay for a subscription to Wondershare Recoverit? - To get the result as soon as possible, because their work file is broken, and it needs to be fixed ASAP, to does not affect their work. Unfortunately, Wondershare Recoverit couldn't resolve my issue quickly, but the subscription payment was refunded.

My photoshop file was broken and I decided to use Recoverit to restore it. I uploaded my file to the free trial version, after a few minutes I saw the “recovered” notification and tried to download the it. But it turned out that to download the restored file I need to pay a subscription. I had to pay for a subscription, since it was my last hope that my file would be restored and I wouldn’t have to spend many hours of work again, but unfortunately, that’s did not happen.
After paying for the subscription and downloading the file, I realized that it was not restored. I contacted the support chat and they are asked me to send the file to their technical support team, so they could try to recover the file manually.
A week later I received an answer. Unfortunately, Recoverit technical specialists were also unable to restore my file correctly. So I requested a refund for my subscription and it was refunded.
  • Perhaps this is good software, but unfortunately I was not able to check it, since my file was not restored.
  • I think before deciding to purchase a plan, the user must make sure that Recoverit really helped restore the file.
  • It is possible to make a preview window in which the user can see the layers that are displayed in the psd file (before downloading this file).
  • If in the preview window it is clear that the file was indeed restored, only after that I think the user decides to purchase a subscription in order to download the corrected file
  • If Recoverit could recover psd files with the errors I mentioned before, it would help my work a lot.
  • Perhaps the technical specialists team will find ways to solve this problem in the future, and this will help many designers avoid doing the same job over and over again after losing the file.
  • When paying a subscription to Recoverit, I thought that it would help to restore my corrupted PSD file, and after paying $ 36 I thought “it's cool that for restoring a file that I worked on for about 18 hours, I can pay an amount that is equal to an hour of my work! This will help me not to spend those 18 hours again creating the file again and save time.”
  • But unfortunately this did not happen, since Recoverit did not work for my issue, and I had to spend 18 hours again creating a new file.
  • After all, as I wrote earlier, I needed the file as quickly as possible, and I did not have time to wait even just a few days for a team of technical specialists to try to fix the file manually.

All the standard ways to recover a psd file with such an error did not help me. I have not found anoter software to solve my issue.

In my experience, it didn't work with .PSD files and the errors “ This file contains one or more layers that may be corrupted”, and “Cannot open document “…” due to unexpected end of file”.BUT, perhaps Recoverit will work with other types of errors. In my work experience there were cases when .PSD the file could be recovered.
Also, it's nice that the subscription fee was refunded.
