SalesForce was our CRM solution for 7 years. It allowed us to consolidate several systems across various practices.

Saleforce.com is a clear leader in the field. They also are leaders in CRM innovation - they are constantly reevaluating their platform and expanding functionality.
The only issue we really ever had with Salesforce.com was price.
