Overall Satisfaction with SAP Lumira Discovery
Used SAP Lumira Discovery for self-service use cases to explore the on- premise SAP BW data. Based on the analysis some new dashboard requirements will be noted and they will be developed in SAP Lumira Designer as a custom application with moderate to complex functionalities. SAP Lumira Discovery is the tool used to analyze data which may lead to any new dashboard development.

- Advanced calculations/formulas
- After Lumira Discovery training, a lot of business users were able to create reports and customize them according to their needs which in turn reduced the number of dashboard requests for the BI team.
- Development time was significantly reduced for reports that were time sensitive.
- Simple and standard UI was easy to standardize reports across the organization.
SAP Analytics Cloud is better than SAP Lumira Discovery in so many ways starting from data connectivity, modelling, self- service analytics, complex applications, planning to Augmented Analytics. When there are policy restrictions, then without much choice, users can go for Lumira Discovery which is decent enough for light weight data exploration requirements.
