Overall Satisfaction with SolarWinds VoIP and Network Quality Manager

Proactive WAN and VoIP monitoring tools that can help with troubleshooting. Review QOS, including jitter, latency, packet loss, and MOS. Troubleshoot VOIP call performance and correlate call issues.
  • Quality of service monitoring.
  • IP SLA Analysis.
  • Ring groups should be included.
  • Call recording feature is missing.
  • Return of investment.
  • Eyes into voice related issues.
VNQM is an essential in-network environment with multiple sites and branch locations. The catch is to make sure all the network equipment esp Routers are IP- SLA-capable. This tool basically runs on IP SLA operations point to point. Once IP SLA is set up it's only a matter of what QOS parameters you would like to monitor.
Support is satisfactory.

VNQM helps network engineers to see network Voice quality issues from the end user perspective and thus be more proactive and engage voice teams accordingly.
The impact on SolarWinds performance due to polling numerous nodes & large number of IPSLA operations can be difficult to predict. It slows down the entire server and its functionality.
