Overall Satisfaction with Trellix Endpoint Security

We were in need for an AV solution and this product was recommended to us by our vendor.
It was used basically to protect employee endpoints, servers and also provide an intuitive platform for managing and take decisions.
We had the on prem and the cloud version in our environment.
  • Simple to deploy
  • Intuitive
  • Easy to use
  • Simplify the configuration.
  • Simplify the troubleshooting.
  • Bad product support can cause delays in decisions.
  • Without EDR, which can isolate the endpoint can be difficult to approach the product.
  • Licensing is easy to understand.
At the time we took the decision all other products seemed to be complicated in usage and licensing. Trellix was very simple in all the aspects: licensing, usage, support.
It also was very simple to deploy, setup and manage.
Product interface was simple to understand and even employees found it easy to use if asked.

The product is very easy to be deployed to the endpoints.
It works based on an agent that is installed initially and then it pulls all other modules that you need to be deployed.
It send almost righ-away alerts about threats.
The management dashboard is easy to understand and use.

Evaluating Trellix Endpoint Security and Competitors

Yes - All Trellix Products were replaced.
Why replaced:
1. The products were not following the market trends
2. Support was really bad
  • Ease of Use
The product was really easy to deploy.
It was easy to be deployed by SCCM, Desktop Central, pushed by the console.
Same process that we had.

Trellix Endpoint Security Support

The support of product was very good when we initially implemented the solution. We were getting fats replies and could see the customer approach. After a while the level of support was not following the SLA's and the replies were getting very confusing and late.

We did not or we were not advised that Premium exists.
But based on my experience I strongly think that that will not help.
