- Fast Recovery of entire VM from Repository
- Ability to recover small and medium size databases at a resonable speed
- Veeams block format 1mb 4mb or 8mb is great for disk backups but cumbersome for cloud backups with ingree / egress charges
The triggering action was Netorkers inability to recover quickly. My experience before Veeam Data Platform was a very high compression to disk but rehydrating and restoring data took days instead of hours. Now 90% of our data is recoverable in a short amount of time.
We have tested Wasabi backups. It did very well. Still backups and restores of full backup data is slower depending on internet connection it is still a great option.
