Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform
We use Veeam to backup all servers in production and development. We have implimented the M365 add on for Veeam also.
- Virtualized workloads
- Endpoints and physical servers running Windows & Linux
- In addition to back up, we also snapshot some of these workloads
- In addition to back up, we also replicate some of these workloads
- Application-centric recovery using Veeam Explorers (for Exchange, SQL, Sharepoint, etc)
- Capacity Tier to store data within object storage for longer term retention
- Integration with cyber-security tools for SecureRestore
- Immutable storage to protect against ransomware
- Storing to Disk
- Storing to Tape
- more integration with tape devises for control

We backup the majority of all our servers with Veeam and love how easy it is to setup and restore.
- Easy to manage
- Easy to restore from Disk or Tape
I have used Veeam in the past and it is the standard so it is a "no brainer" to use Veeam.
We currently have all our servers on site so we do not have a need for Veeam with the cloud.
We currently use windows file servers and do you Veeam for these backups.
