Overall Satisfaction with Veeam Data Platform

I currently use Veeam Data Platform for backing up Critical On Prem services. We do monthly testing of backups and service works great with integration to Vsphere.

Support when I have reached out has been super helpful and friendly in addition to promptly responding to my questions.
  • Endpoints and physical servers running Windows & Linux
  • In addition to back up, we also replicate some of these workloads
  • Virtualized workloads
  • Enterprise UNIX servers running Solaris & IBM AIX
  • Enterprise applications such as Oracle or SAP HANA
  • Cloud-hosted VMs within AWS or Azure
  • NAS filers
  • In addition to back up, we also snapshot some of these workloads
  • Application-centric recovery using Veeam Explorers (for Exchange, SQL, Sharepoint, etc)

Most of or not all of our decisions are based on Security for our services and systems, which drives our purchasing of services.
We have benefited from cloud integration by integrating our Veeam Data Platform to replicate offsite in case of a disaster.
I think Veeam Data Platform is well suited for any company hosting critical data which would cost companies x amount of dollars to recover .

In addition they have integration with cloud if you want to replicate to offsite cloud hosted data store.
