Overall Satisfaction with Whova

Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I used Whova at a recent industry conference, and it was great. It's usually difficult to find out where to go, but it was all laid out in the app and made it easy to navigate and stress-free. Also, I was networking with people constantly, and it was a lifesaver to be able to look up their name and organization and save it, so I could go back and review them later.

Pros and Cons

Pros

Made navigating the conference easy
Helped with finding names and organizations to help with follow up after networking

Cons

The search function was a little clunky, not bad, just felt a little awkward.
The layout of events was a little unclear. Again, it was fine, but it would have been nice to get a full picture of the day at a glance.

Return on Investment

I was a user, but it definitely helped me keep track of all the contacts I made at the conference and made it much easier to follow up afterward.

Support Rating

I did not need to use customer support.

Implementation Rating

It worked very well. It was fast and had no bugs.

If someone I knew were organizing an industry conference or another type of event with multiple sessions and more than a hundred people, I would tell them to take a look at Whova. I was not excited to open it as these kinds of apps are usually buggy and useless, but I was impressed with Whova. It had a lot of good information and was easy to use.
