Jahia is a Java-based enterprise content management system. It features an integrated user portal, web publishing and content management, document management, collaboration, and multi-channel publishing.
The Adobe Experience Platform is well suited for companies that are maturing or have matured in their digital offerings and are looking for very sophisticated tools to elevate to the next level. It's also for well resourced teams, both financially and head count to take advantage of the deep functionality and integrations.
We have a large volume of digital content to manage and distribute across various channels, Jahia DX is an excellent choice. Its robust CMS allows for efficient content creation, editing, and management, while its flexible delivery options ensure a consistent user experience across all platforms. While Jahia DX is designed to be user-friendly, some technical knowledge is still required to set up and fully utilize the platform. Businesses with limited IT resources might find it challenging to get the most out of Jahia DX.
Its customization capabilities, Jahia does not disrupt creative autonomy as some of its competitors do. On the contrary, its modules and components are totally customizable, ensuring that you have your unique identity on the web without seeming similar or a "copy" of something already online.
The ease of use, Jahia is extremely simple and easy to use, even users without great experience will have no problem dealing with it thanks to its intuitive interface.
The technical support of Jahia is another strong point, service is always fast and enlightening, they really do their best to help in every way possible.
I would not use Jahia as it proved too complex for our needs and didn't help our over goal of customer satisfaction. Along with the man hours to build and execute, it wasn't worth the hassle
Overall I really like the Adobe Experience Cloud after a couple years of figuring out various tools. They are extremely powerful. The time commitment to learn them is high since it's not a tool you can easily begin using without much training.
The interface and ergonomics are designed to facilitate the use of the product. The creation of template is easy which allows to minimize the actions necessary for the provision of content.
[I give it this rating because it] was up most of the time. There are so many scheduled reboots that I don't think it would be a good choice for a 95% SLA.
Adobe has support at all levels and for each product but beyond tool questions you'll often be told they can help but it requires some paid consulting hours. So you either hire Adobe consultants or find 3rd part consultants who know their products well.
We have quite a good support from Jahia but our main contact is still our integrator. I wish Jahia was more involved. The support from the Jahia Customer Success Manager has been quite irregular.
In most cases we have found Adobe products to be harder to use but offer a lot more capabilities. In some cases Adobe products are missing key, basic functions. Adobe does offer a more holistic toolset rather than buying pieces of the puzzle and having to integrate on your own but that results in paying for a higher price tag.
Jahia is more cost effective and catered to our inhouse development skills. The multi-site support is also very enterprise and organized which allows for us to manage our client relationships with ease when it comes to the web and content. The main driver for our selection was cost and core development knowledge but also great customer support reputation
The full Enterprise package with Form Factory and Marketing Factory included provides the best user experience as the sites are more dynamic and adapt themselves to end users profiles. You are likely to get a much better targeting of the content this way, but of course it has a cost
Jahia is robust and reliable and is a good base to build up on digital transformation
