It is great if you are working in a sales environment where you need to keep track of your deals and sales pipeline. It's not an application for a company that only has a small sales force, where deals can be tracked manually.

Veelo is my go-to place for information about Chrome River. For example, if I speak to a prospect that has a manual expense reporting process, I will go to Veelo to download some Chrome River content specific to the common pitfalls of processing expense reports manually and send off that content piece in an email. Veelo will also allow me to track open rates to see if the prospect is engaging with the content.

  • It would be great if we are able to customize it fully, there is more information from our CRM that we can use to have more insights on our pipeline reviews.

  • Does not work well for individuals that are hands on/kinesthetic learners
  • The quizzes at the end of each section are troublesome and can repeat the same info
  • Sometimes notifications for due dates are not sent out in regard to assigned training sessions

We were using Aviso and were approached by Clari. We reviewed Clari and went through a POC but still decided to stay with Aviso due to their flexibility in working with the data from Salesforce. Clari required us to create specific fields within Salesforce in order to push the data into the application. Whereas with Aviso, it did not matter what Salesforce object the data was on, they were able to pull the data in to the application without any customization in Salesforce itself.

We have used Dropbox before, but it does not compare to Veelo. Veelo offers many more features and can be accessed online which allows for the most up to date content at all times. Dropbox can't track content open rates as Veelo can.
