Wufoo and Formstack are very similar - almost as if they were built by the same company or ex-employees. Except Formstack UI was better and modern at least when we selected it. While the team was happy with Wufoo and SurveyMonkey, our IT team picked Formstack based on their …
Formstack just had more versatility. We had to start in a rush and they gave us what we needed to hit the ground running. They didn't delay or bog us down with complicated sales pitches, and didn't leave us in the dark on what to do. We didn't need to google how to use the …
We have found that no other software gives us the freedom that Formstack does to be creative in our form building. Formstack has by far the most user-friendly interface of any other product we have used. We especially like the Digital Signature, SubAccounts and Calculating …
It's friendly user and its not required more time to design the forms which are looking for, so far JotForm fulfilling all our requirements.

Chose Jotform
Jotform is light years ahead of these other vendors. I continue to use the other three for various activities and would much prefer to port everything over to Jotform if it weren't for the fact that others in the organization prefer to continue using the others due to their …
Jotform worked better with the specific pieces of software we already use and can natively integrate with them, making it quick and easy to share and store data we collect. The pricing plan also worked well with our specific use cases and seems like it would scale efficiently …
I chose JotForm as it was easy to use and helped to collect the data I needed. It offered a great deal to sign up with and as a small business, the savings were important to us. JotForm has an easy-to-use interface and creating the forms was a breeze. You don't need to be a …
I prefer Wufoo to Formstack because it is nicer in appearance and is certainly user-friendly. Wufoo has provided everything that Formstack provided, and it also integrates nicely with our conference webpage. To be completely honest, while we still use Wufoo for time-off …
They all have very similar freemium and low tier plans, so it comes down to what exactly you need and what you can live without. However, I highly suggest paying up to at least remove branding to keep all your forms on-brand to build trust with your clients and partners.
Both Wufoo and Formstack offer a lot of the same features, which is to be expected. Price is a huge factor though when comparing Wufoo vs Formstack. Wufoo is $29 per month paid annually for 5 users and unlimited forms. Formstack is $82.50 per month paid annually for 5 users …
Formstack makes it easy to create a variety of forms. I have used it for event interest and registrations, email list sign-ups, and surveys. I have found it easy to customize, and easy to export data for import into other systems (e.g., CRM).
We use it for mostly community surveys and I absolutely prefer it over any other survey program out there. It is easy to create, easy to understand and easy to navigate. I love the QR code option it creates for you to share your form/ survey with others. It really is the best out there!
Wufoo is well suited when someone needs to gather data from visitors. It's not so well suited when you need to have people send files over 25MB in size. That's the limit and it's pretty low. We use it for resumes and MS Word files, so the size is okay for us, but might not be the case for other needs.
Allows for unique situations. As a school, we don't have the luxury of being cookie cutter. Neither do our forms.
Support. If we don't know how to do it, their support team has been very helpful and actually attempts to understand the issue on hand.
User friendliness. In our field we have a phrase: "what if you get hit by a bus?" With Formstack, you can "get hit by the bus" and someone else can jump in and still keep things running (this is used as a phrase for illness, not termination).
Flexible, multiple entry forms: Wufoo allows users to create forms with multiple options or formats (radio, single choice, checkbox, text, paragraph text)
Conditional forms: Need to ask a question that only applies to a specific group? Then Wufoo is for you - it allows you to create conditional logic that allows you to reserve specific paths for specific entrants.
Integrations: Wufoo integrates with EVERYTHING via Zapier. You can sync it to Google sheets, email ESPs / CRMs, payment gateways... All kinds of applications for this software with its flexible uses & integrations, including embeddable HTML or direct integration to your website.
Setting up our multi-step form took some getting used to. Some of the branching logic configuration wasn't as intuitive as would be ideal.
Since we were pushing data directly into Hubspot, I found it cumbersome to deal with data storage limits within Formstack. I would get frequent notices that new responses were not being stored in Formstack and that I needed to upgrade or delete data. I got tired of that.
More/easier support for custom fonts would have been a huge plus. We were able to customize the form's appearance, but had to make some concessions in that regard.
Our user base has come to rely on Formstack to get forms done. The Formstack tools make it easy to start from scratch or copy an existing form to "quick start" a new, similar form. The price is right and frees up IT staff to do more transformative work.
I only give it this mid-range rating because, since the 2014 Super Bowl is history, our company will be closing in a couple months. I hope in my next employment opportunity that I will be able to use Wufoo again. I will probably use it to a limited extent in my personal life to communicate with friends and contacts in a unique manner. I am also working on a Certificate in Web Development and I definitely use Wufoo as embedded forms in websites I build.
It's easy to learn how to use, generally easy for clients to use, and overall I've never had an overwhelmingly negative experience with it. While there are a few tweaks that could make it really shine, Formstack Forms serves almost all our needs and we're super happy with it.
As a seasoned user who relies on seamless online forms for a multitude of purposes, I can confidently attest that JotForm has not only simplified the form creation process but has also elevated it to new heights.JotForm's interface is a masterpiece of intuitive design. Even if you're a newcomer to the world of online form creation, the platform's user-friendly layout will have you crafting professional-grade forms in no time.
Wufoo's usability from the user to the client is simple. The forms are simple to construct and they are easy for our clients to fill out. I have yet to really hit something that is difficult to do and even when I do get a little stumped their excellent support team helps me through it.
Every time I try to use a different Form Builder - I constantly go back to Wufoo, especially compared to WordPress Plugin Form Builders. The biggest reason is the reliability of the form notifications getting sent and delivered are better than form builder that rely on the Wordpress Mail Send Feature. The only feature that I have found over the last 3 years that Wufoo is missing is the ability to customize the layout of the notification emails. But that is minor in the grand scope of its reliability.
The agents in the original group, especially the ones in cahoots with the developers, are really solid and know what they're talking about--I'm looking at you, Collin. The 'Tier 1' support agents that typically reply to the tickets are really spotty. If you have an overly technical question, i.e. bugfix, or describe a feature from a few years back that randomly disappeared, these agents typically will give you what feels like a generic reply and not know what you're talking about.
I honestly have not used the support feature with Jotform. From what I can see when I look information up, everything I want to do something that I can't figure out myself it seems to not be a possible solution or edit that Jotform is currently capable of.
I will be completely honest - I have never needed to contact any specific support for Wufoo. This is because we've never had any problems with Wufoo that I'm aware of! It has proved to be a reliable and easy to use product, and therefore, we have not needed to reach out for any kind of support or assistance. I suppose this would speak to the exceptional quality of the product!
We implemented on one of the earlier versions. Through continuous engineering improvements, the interface keeps getting easier and more intuitive. Therefore, later implementations keep getting easier and better.
the most valuable things that Jotform give free trial, so the resistant users can get the experiences of the easiness and more handling to the digital things
Implementing Wufoo was a seamless process. It was an instantaneous transition from the old pdf forms and webforms we were using to the easier to understand Wufoo forms. Employees learned it with ease and the clients response was instantaneously positive. Adding Wufoo to your workflow is not only easy it is necessary.
Drupal is a much more customizable platform, however you must have someone build the forms first and then you can work with them if you do not have the programming knowledge. If you have any changes to make, it can sometimes be both a time consuming and difficult process. Formstack is much more efficient if you do not have an in house programmer.
Typeform is better hands down [in my opinion]. It's not even a comparison as [I feel] JotForm doesn't work properly and [from my experience I think] their support is very problematic. I would suggest using Typeform or using GravityForms as an alternative to JotForm. Whatever you do, [I feel you shouldn't] depend on JotForm for something that is important to your business or research project.
In terms of building reports, Wufoo is very similar to Google Forms. Both have the capability to edit live forms and immediately share them. Wufoo offers a few more features than Google Forms does as well. Overall, our department has looked at both options and continues to use Wufoo because of the data management and ease of building forms.
Positive - ability to analyze submission trends - e.g. when a marketing email is sent, looking at increased form viewing and submissions in relation to the sending of the campaign.
Immediate response - those that submit forms receive immediate response that their form has been submitted.
It saved me time. Within minutes I was able to create and share forms to collect demographic data.
While struggling to use another software, I thought of Jotform and it was able to assist me with collating the data I had to confirm results previously obtained.
I could not easily identify what new information was provided in a resubmission by a respondent.
Wufoo has had a positive impact on our marketing department by allowing us to create and deploy forms on our websites and landing pages with significantly increased efficiency and speed.
Wufoo has also had a huge impact in reducing our reliance on IT support to build and deploy forms to our websites.
Wufoo has also empowered our marketing team to be able to try and solve our business problems through tons of integrations between Wufoo and other 3rd party systems (such as Salesforce and Zapier).
