The 2 systems are quite comparable. Both system offer a variety of different features and benefits. I feel like the GoTo Connect system was more easily configured. The admin settings side of RingEX can be daunting and a little confusing. Some features are hard to find …
User friendly PBX interface. The above products have a more complex and less intuitive interface design. Pricing is also a big factor, as other products can cost more compared with what GoTo offers. In addition, the access to customer support and the quality of support …
We chose GoTo Connect because it put a tick box on all our requirements which included three major requirements. These three requirements were the pricing, the support offered during our relationship, and the time taken to implement and set up the product as per our …
We selected GoToConnect after using Aircall and RingCentral in the past. I cannot say why we switched to GoToConnect (I did not make that decision). We ultimately left GoToConnect for Zoom Phone due to better admin control, user sentiment/support, lower pricing, and a stronger …
If you are on POTS, PBX, or standard VoIP, all of these are an amazing lift-up and provide some awesome communication tools. The Cloud has exploded the level of communication experiences clients can use to shoot past their competitors. Some of these providers have grown too …

Chose GoTo Connect
We did a RFP and received over a dozen replies of proposals. We narrowed the list down and did in-person presentations on the top 3. We had an evaluation committee including IT, business office, and others to get real user input. We chose GoTo Connect because it has a very …
Costs and main features were comparable, we chose GoToConnect for its simpler and well designed graphic user interface on their admin control panels. Also plenty of supports from Youtube and Google.
RingCentral has a much better mobile app (doesn't require data usage for mobile calls) and the RC desktop app is more intuitive. GoToConnect blows RingCentral away in terms of value and support. GoToConnect video conferencing (GotoMeeting) is far superior to RingCentral Meetings.
We looked at several different VoIP providers before landing on GoToConnect for our final decision including Vonage & RingCentral, both of which charged for add-ons that we regularly used, but were included in the price of GoToConnect's service. We also really liked that …
GoToConnect allowed me to not have to be on a long term contract while not sacrificing features or functions. It is a very robust and flexible product that is very price competitive and provides excellent service at these competitive rates, which is rare today.
We selected GoToConnect over RingCentral primarily for the ease of access to the system. RingCentral required downloading multiple desktop applications that all needed to be logged into separately. GoToConnect keeps it simply in a web browser.
RingCentral was hands down the most convoluted, confusing and difficult to use phone system out there we've experienced. Not only was it hard to use, it was the most expensive and we found their reporting was completely wrong. Not only was it wrong, the errors in reporting were …
Many of the features are the same but I feel that RC makes it more user friendly for configuration and work. We have also not seen the cost increases with RingCentral that we saw with the other providers
We switched from GoTo's platform with pieces of Teams. At that time, the complexity and difficulty of integrating all of the features and connecting them to get a simple platform that was stable and easy to train weren't available elsewhere.
RingEX is far superior to Cisco BusinessEdition (which is discontinued) and slightly better than GoTo (formerly Jive) that we use in a couple smaller offices.
RingEX 's management tools are all out of one system instead of multiple. The features offered in their lower lever "tiers" are ones that other providers only offer in their "premium" packages. Most providers have built on new features and management consoles as separate …
It is absolutely perfect for flexible hybrid teams that want to combine daily calls, texts, and video meetings without needing a dedicated IT person. However, I would completely skip this software if you run a massive outbound call center because the system reporting is just way too basic right now.
It's very suitable if you want a competent "business phone" solution. It is extremely reliable; the pricing is competitive, and it offers some advanced features and functions. It offers the ability to set up numbers very quickly and to procure them from across the globe. It offers good flexibility in controlling how and where those numbers route, with the ability to add inline messages, voicemail inbox, etc. It is not, to me, a like-for-like replacement for a call center product (and indeed RingCentral offers a true call center solution). If you are looking for advanced routing rules (such as adding skill priorities) or robust real-time monitoring (e.g., dashboards), this is not the right product.
Call reports: You can see and review calls received from the first receptor until the last who attend this call, also you can review all calls make and received by your teams
Voicemail options: Availability to create some voicemail with multiple receptors
Devices option: with several options to change on your devices
Audio library: Multiple option to create your own audio library with or without ambien music
They are knocking it out of the park on all fronts. I love the service and support I am receiving and have no complaints. If they raised their prices substantially I would reconsider but I don't think that will happen anytime soon. They would have to mess up something consistently moving forward to make me want to move
We are grandfathered into our unlimited toll-free minutes plan. We are very unlikely to switch because of that. It has been the major factor saving us a lot of money compared to switching to other solutions. I don't know any other company that still offers these unlimited plans.
Overall, it's a decent product for the price. It has the basic features our company needed when it was brand new and was not overly difficult to set up. As we've grown, it's become increasingly difficult to build out the features we want to implement within the PBX, and customer support can be less than helpful. Many of the more advanced features (dial plans, queues, etc.) take a lot of research to understand how to implement. Some of the features we paid for weren't even available when we were attempting to set them up.
They were working on updating a few of the modules while we were going live, so this made usability difficult to train on once they did go live with those changes. Now that the changes are in place, we have really enjoyed the usability of the platform
I have never experienced or heard of unplanned outages when it comes to GoTo Connect. Most of the time the unplanned outage is always local power at a site or internet service provider having an unplanned outage. GoTo's service has never failed any of our orgs yet that I know of.
Because it works great. In case there's a Wi-Fi issue, communication does not stop because the mobile app can be use with regular cell phone data. During one year + 3 months I've have the service, there's been only one time when there were issues on RingEX's side; however, the time of resolution was on the same day.
There is no lag in phone calls. There is no background noise or static/fuzz. Calls are crystal clear. With other dialers and phone systems, I have experienced delays between dialogue or delays with the caller picking up the phone and then being able to hear you. We do not experience this with Go To Connect.
Occasional bandwith issues. In addition to this, I have one individual whose calls are blocked. We were not able to determine whether this was a RingEX or a carrier issue.
One of the MOST challenging things in tech support is that some of the offshore agents "don't speak Texan/English", and are really hard to understand. GoTo Connect's support is usually someone who is VERY easy to understand their US/English, and are very helpful. In dozens of interactions for our business & our clients, we've only had a few tickets that couldn't be resolved on the first call
Call-in support is fantastic. I have never called in and had it taken more than 30 minutes to resolve our issue. Email support is terrible. You will likely go 24+ hours until you hear back and the response is likely a canned one. I personally prefer the email or chat support option, but find myself calling instead because the email support experience is so poor.
The training videos could be more in-depth. This would help our user base so that they can feel impowered to look up information that they need without having to ask our admins every time they have a question about the system. Online training videos are also inferior to an actual person explaining systems.
It was great. Provisioning the phones was the trickiest part, but once we figured that out, actually setting up users, lines, dial plans, and everything like that was really easy. We were easily able to provision phones, ship them out to all our outside locations, and make changes from the home office.
If someone has an existing system I tell them to keep that running initially and keep RingEX separate initially until the system is configured and tested to one's satisfaction. After testing and configuration is completed, then roll over the main phone numbers to the new RingEX system. I've seen one person who immediately flipped over to RingEX without properly configuring/testing the software and had many issues with missed customer calls until I helped him sort out his configuration.
Go-To was the more cost-effective option between these. They also had the closest alignment to our goals and what we needed for our company without going overboard. We are happy with our decision and will continue to recommend Go-To.
We are using these products like (Skype, Voip, TextNow, and Second line), but comparatively these products the RingEX has a good performance, because while we were using the other platform, we didn't get proper communication, we couldn't reach out the candidate, we lags to much into spam number, we couldn't communicate properly and the textnow we couldn't sigin sometime. When we start to use RingEX, we get much better productivity and proper communication with our clients.
Its not readily apparent to me, other than cost, where you would run into any issues with larger scale deployments. When we went live on the product, the Jive team was always willing to do mass updates for us on our extensions, users, etc. in the system, so we didn't have to do too much manual one-by-one updates.
We have 75 users and 85 phones on the system and have yet to have any noticeable outages. The system just works all of the time without issues. Our old VOIP system on Voyant would go out all the time for multiple hours. RingEX is much more stable and reliable.
Cost Savings have been realized from reducing hardware .
We are all able to collaborate remotely and it has been seamless and easy to setup.
I'm able to pull reports, i wish there was improvement on the data analysis side. It has gotten better since LogMeIn, but something is a miss and can be improved.
Enhanced patient accountability, we can track all calls - incoming and outgoing - patients tend to state that they called and left a message, but they either never called or did not leave a message. With RingEX, we can track whether they really did. It saves us quite a bit of time and aggravation.
Faxing is more accurate and usually very quick. Because it's accurate, it saves us time with phone calls about faxes we never received and having to refax items. Also, faxing via the system instead of printing and scanning is a time-saver.
