Homesnap
Chose Homesnap
I have used Zillow and their leads are bonafide but costly - but they pay off. You actually speak to a live client on the phone. If I can get the person on the phone I can convert them. It is impossible to convert someone if their email address and phone number are fake and you …
Chose Homesnap
I do not like Facebook for serious leads but at least it is not [as pricey] as Homesnap and I know what to expect from FB.
Chose Homesnap
In Idaho we are a non-disclosure state, so the accuracy of the "big 3" is laughable. When I first speak to someone searching for a home on another platform I tell them four things.

1. Homesnap ties directly into the MLS-so accuracy matter
LoopNet
Chose LoopNet
LoopNet is the most well known, with the widest audience. This is why I selected it. But, they cannot get the simplest of details correct for the purpose of advertising the listings I have for sale. When they can't get even a unit count correct, why bother? Not to mention …
Chose LoopNet
The info is not as accurate as AIR CRE. LoopNet has a lot of fake listings, bait and switch listings.
Chose LoopNet
They are brother and sister. We used to have to input listings into both CoStar and LoopNet and now they go hand in hand. If you use CoStar, your listings automatically pop up on LoopNet. If an owner puts properties up themselves on LoopNet, they automatically show up on …

Homesnap makes my daily activities easier by having one less worry of updating my Google professional profile page. With the everyday stresses that come with being a REALTOR, we often forget to update our multiple lead-generating professional profile pages. Homesnap frequently reminds me to do my own post updates, amongst it doing some automatic post updates for me.

LoopNet is well suited for many different industries. Obviously it is great for real estate professionals or real estate buyers when researching properties that are available or may become available. The history of the properties provided is excellent and provides details that would be very helpful to the real estate industry. Facility Service companies are also well suited for the use of LoopNet. With the property information it provides it makes it much easier to get to the decision-makers when selling facility services or products. LoopNet may be less appropriate for product sales as these providers may need to be more connected with the occupants of the properties more than the owners.

  • There are often glitches on the sight from the searching to report pulling process
  • The alert function for saved searches is very rarely functional
  • The database search is often glitchy if you put in a high price limit, and no low price limit

In Idaho we are a non-disclosure state, so the accuracy of the "big 3" is laughable. When I first speak to someone searching for a home on another platform I tell them four things. 1. Homesnap ties directly into the MLS-so accuracy matter 2. You will not have to worry about a home being in "pre-forclosure" and not being for sale 3. We can communicate directly from the app. 4. When you make a home a favorite, I can see it. This means even without talking, I can see what style you prefer the most.

They are brother and sister. We used to have to input listings into both COSTAR and LoopNet and now they go hand in hand. If you use COSTAR, your listings automatically pop up on LoopNet. If an owner puts properties up themselves on LoopNet, they automatically show up on COSTAR. This is a great feature and listing marketing is better since this integration.

Return on Investment
  • Homesnap is my go-to tool when speaking with people looking for homes online.
  • Having Homesnap on my phone allows me to look up a property within seconds, either by address or MLS number.
  • I tell every agent in our office that Homesnap should be their go-to for home searching apps on a mobile device.

  • The impact has been negative (as in worse than not having an effect), due to their inability to list simple details (that are commonly available through well known sources).
  • What's even worse is that I am one of the data sources from which they source the information they advertise. But they are unwilling to take input from me (the one who hired them in the first place).
