I've done these tasks manually before (custom link, QR code, etc.), but Rebrandly makes it easier and the reports are great... I don't know of any other software that does this.
Chose Rebrandly
Rebrandly alllows custom domain names for free, which is not the case of Bitly.
Chose Rebrandly
Rebrandly allows you to link to your domain or subdomain and that's one of the best advantages - doesn't let your brand value dilute over ugly looking or painful long links. Others don't allow connecting your own domain. Customers are hesitant in clicking the links that don't …
Chose Rebrandly
Rebrandly is definitely aimed at the professional end of the market. Bitly has been around for a long time, but also overused and abused by bad actors. This can negatively influence a backlink profile in terms of organic search which an SEO professional simply can not afford. …
Chose Rebrandly
Rebrandly is not expensive and unites different features on the same solution. Other solutions (used before) didn't put all the features together. Very bad.
Chose Rebrandly
I think Rebrandly is a better product for the cost and value
Chose Rebrandly
Rebrandly has more features, especially the ability to edit links after the fact. Other link shorteners are good, but Rebrandly is more fully-featured. Rebrandly basically starts where other link shorteners end. Integrated QR code creation is a differentiator. Analytics are …
Chose Rebrandly
Setting up a branded URL through Bitly was way too complicated. Additionally, the limitation on the number of links created per month was too restrictive. Bitly does allow UTM tracking to be added, but not as dynamically as Rebrandly. Bitly also doesn't have the pixel adding …
Chose Rebrandly
Rebrandly has more options to customise, as well as better statistics, than competitors.
Chose Rebrandly
Bitly has a somewhat shorter domain name, but it is more commonly used so it is difficult to find short paths when using it.
Chose Rebrandly
When I last used bit.ly you had no way to edit a shortened URL. That sent me on a search, and that's how I discovered rebrand.ly!
Chose Rebrandly
It has much more functionality.
Chose Rebrandly
Besides Bitly, I have tried also BL.INK. They do pretty much the same, but Rebrandly, as I have mentioned before, allows you to change the final URL once the shortened one is created. The other ones only have this feature in paid plans.
Chose Rebrandly
Rebrandly is more user-friendly and customizable than other services for shortening links.
Chose Rebrandly
I always select the services that make my life easier. If they solve my problems I pay for the service without fear. These services that I have listed are mandatory. I have no way to continue working without using them.
Chose Rebrandly
Easier use of keyword specific URLs. The platform is designed so that specific keywords are more easily incorporated into the domain. Other URL shortening services, we find, are not as easy to navigate in this regard. We we have been using Rebrandly for a little while now and …
Chose Rebrandly
I have used Bitly before but find it does not have enough detail like Rebrandly. Shows more information that i useful and has a better user interface. Overall, Rebrandly is better for the purpose of our needs.
Chose Rebrandly
Bit.ly and other services that shorten and manage links are great, but there are a few problems:
  • It can be expensive to add your own custom domain - with Rebrandly it's free.
  • With certain products, you aren't able to set the link text, which can lead to confusing links like …
Chose Rebrandly
Much better link management with Rebrandly than Bitly and other URL link managers. You can redirect the link after the fact which aids immensely.
Chose Rebrandly
So far, Rebrandly has all of the features I am used to with Bit.ly. The benefit with Rebrandly is more pricing options for someone using a custom URL.
Chose Rebrandly
Rebrandly is easier to use and priced better.

If you would like to dedicate a subdomain for a particular type of audience or campaign - a smart way of shortening links and wow factor is that for the free-tier itself there are 500+ links allowed - which is huge! Recommended for running outbound campaigns where subdomain won't mess up your data.

  • Let's you specify the domain name to something meaningful.
  • Can customize the short link name to make it clear what's it for.
  • The process is quick and you get your shortened URL in seconds.

Cons
Rebrandly
  • The reporting feature is flat out awful. It would be great if there were just a dashboard where I could see stats and graphs with easily filterable views.
  • The UI could use some polish in the dashboard.
  • More sorting/filtering features when looking through links.

Prompt and informative responses. Whereas many of their competitors use automated responses that require significant wait times to respond, Rebrandly have a much decreased response time which is vital for any business that is juggling many different tasks at the same time. This aspect of quality customer service is one of the primary reasons that we choose to use Rebrandly, and will continue to do so.

Rebrandly
Rebrandly is definitely aimed at the professional end of the market. Bitly has been around for a long time, but also overused and abused by bad actors. This can negatively influence a backlink profile in terms of organic search which an SEO professional simply can not afford. Using custom domains with Rebrandly, in conjunction with the unbeatable redirection speed means I'm getting far better and more consistent results compared to Bitly.
