Rippling is far more cost-effective than Zenefits or TriNet and far easier for an administrator to navigate. TriNet is ridiculously difficult to navigate and hard to train other admins on once you finally figure it out. Zenefits messed up our benefits and dropped employees from …
As far as my experience goes, I believe TriNet is a more comprehensive tool given that it manages all aspects of Human Resources needs - payroll, health benefits, wellness benefits, expenses, etc.
Rippling is more holistic - i.e. payroll, benefits, etc. Hibob was used in tandem with TriNet in my previous company. And TriNet was super clunky and cumbersome to use, especially for expense management and payroll.
I liked TriNet but it was difficult to make changes and sometimes there were delays to things I needed done. Rippling has better integrations with other systems, too.
The color scheme of the Rippling platform, in comparison to the TriNet platform is far and away better. What it has done for me as an employee is improved my outlook on my managers. With this new color scheme through Rippling, my managers care about how I feel and what they …
Rippling is much better, more functional, and the UI is much easier to navigate. One thing that TriNet does better on the employee side is it shows when the next pay period is. This is useful to employees when a bank holiday is coming up and lands on the normal payday.
Rippling stacks up pretty well. It's been awhile. My memory has faded. TriNet didn't have the app when I was using them. So an apple to apple comparison would not be fair.
Rippling blows these other platforms away. We selected Rippling because it enabled us to consolidate platforms and pay FTEs and contractors overseas and domestically all from the same platform while offering the ability to customize pay cycles. This along with the App Store for …
Frankly, there is no comparison to what Rippling brings to the table. So many platforms are antiquated back-ends that are stitched together like Frankenstein's monster with a lot of limitations and marginal performance. Rippling is the system you always wanted - definitely …
Much easier to use from an admin, manager, and team member perspective. Too clunky and challenging to make changes. Managers' roles weren't very robust so the admins had to make changes on our behalf. As an employee, the tool was even worse. It just wasn't great and was …
This is a comprehensive platform that makes it easy to take time off work, download and review your pay stubs, communicate with your team on a communal message board and view your health insurance status, and more relating to your benefits. The platform is also very intuitive to …
Rippling is far superior in my personal opinion. Rippling has a better user interface and a more modern feel. TriNet was old school and could use a refresh. Other features that I prefer are the ability to access anything from insurance docs to retirement links in Rippling. Both …

Chose TriNet
Very bottom of the list - I did not select TriNet, as I joined the company after it had already been implemented and in use for some time. If I had been involved, Rippling and/or Zenefits would have been my top choices due to their wide breadth of HR/Payroll/People support …
TriNet offered similar functionalities to other PEOs like Insperity & Justworks, though for our particular company size & needs was the most cost competitive.
