TriNet

Previously described but TriNet does really well in communicating the entire benefit enrollment as well as the renewal period. Excellent from start to finish not just from a corporate perspective but also from an employee perspective. Also previously described, TriNet does not offer payroll/PEO services to companies with employees who live and work abroad. This would be an excellent offering for companies with this need.

  • TriNet benefit offerings are very good. The team assigned to help with everything from plan design and cost through employee Open Enrollment is strong.
  • TriNet's platform is acceptable in today's market - there are areas in which integration could be stronger, but they are on the plus side of what we need and open to feedback and enhancements.
  • TriNet was and continues to be cost-effective. They have a straightforward, transparent method of charging for services.

  • The app. The are adding some admin features but I would like to be able to do more.
  • The ability to customize the dashboard. The ability to see employee birthdays.
  • As an administrator, when I log in, I want to have it default to the admin/manager tab. It would be a nice feature since that it typically the tab I always go to.
  • The ability for employees to congratulate others on promotions, birthdays, anniversaries, etc.

Because it is through my current job I would recommend it to other friends with businesses both large and small. It is an easy to use app and it is super helpful and beneficial for time tracking and ensuring accuracy of the time clock. It notifies you when you are close to your allotted PTO limit which is also a neat feature.

The only issue is that benefits are very expensive, however this may be an issue with the current cost of health care in the U.S. more so than TriNet. In that case, we would stay with TriNet if we cannot find a better pricing on quality benefits.

Rippling has a very user-friendly and intuitive user interface. The system layout is very logical and easy to use. The payday emails are fun and provide useful links to review your paystub. Employee onboarding, maintenance, and offboarding are easy to navigate. Reporting is configurable enough to get what you need.

It is very easy to use for inputting payroll, however it isn't as flexible as an ADP when it comes to making adjustments to employee payroll for expense reimbursements. It works great for the TriNet expense platform from both an employee and approval process. The PTO tracker is also a great tool and easy to use. Benefits renewal is also an easy process

Never connected with anyone that either couldn't answer the question or didn't know exactly who to transfer me to. Their help with the technology platform has been stellar, even providing screen grabs of the system so we aren't guessing about how to follow the bulleted steps. Any time we have a question about processes, we can easily drop an email or pick up the phone and the TriNet team is accessible and usually answers the call with the first connection - no long line of automated selections

it's been awhile, but I recall them being helpful. I got through a lot of it and when I needed help, they can walk me through it over the phone. It's also pretty user friendly in general at a platform. I don't really know what else to type, but they came and helped me in person and also when there was something new, they came and talked to me. They have not done that since with the new model that I hate

it was good, but now I haven't done much and since they changed their model, it's a lot harder to deal with. We're talking online training of the trinet platform and not the online training they provide, right? Their online training is ok, and is unfortunate that there is a totally separate model for training that costs extra when we would only watch one or two things. However, the mandatory sexual harassment training is actually pretty good, it was just a little clunky

Bamboo, in all fairness, was another great internal platform that my last company used to track benefits. I [enjoyed] Bamboo, but Rippling is much easier to use, and I like how you can navigate through the platform faster. I also like the added alerts [...] Rippling provides to your email notifying you of when you get paid, any changes made to your account, etc.

TriNet

When Astrolabe was founded we used Gusto. They have a slick portal and they are significantly cheaper than TriNet (order of magnitude or more). Unfortunately, Gusto does not provide small companies (less than 5 employees) with benefits or any concrete HR services other than payroll, which dictated our switch.
