We use Acronis to backup a handful of our clients' servers. We use this to backup data in the event that we need to restore their information. We can back up their information using a schedule and we can manage how long we keep that particular backup. Acronis gives us the option to back up selective files or the entire machine.

Acronis Backup is used as the primary solution for data backup and recovery. It is a software-only solution so media to write to is up to the customer to bring to the table. Acronis works by creating images of servers that can be mounted or restored and works as a bare-metal recovery option for most servers if the need arises.

We use Acronis backup to image our work PCs and hard drives of our clients. We use it primarily to image existing hard drives to a new larger traditional hard drive or a smaller SSD hard drive.

We started using Acronis because it scans for encrypted files. This was a huge problem for our clients because the new variants of the crypto bugs now go after the backups. Acronis has been amazing at preventing bad data from being backed up, we are now rolling it out to all of our clients.

We adopted Acronis Backup V12.5 when we upgraded our VMWare environment. We needed a solution to backup all of the VMs and then replicate the image to an off-site location. It is managed by the IT department and we hope to replace the Symantec BackupExec system that is/was being used.

Acronis Backup is being used in our department to back up the main servers in our infrastructure to onsite and offsite backup as part of our DR solution. The solution was chosen due to its entire image backup solution which makes it easy to recover from file level to entire server restoration.

I am using Acronis in our IT department. I utilize Acronis to backup my server and main company files. In addition, I am backing up to the cloud for redundancy. The business problem that Acronis addresses is disaster recovery. If there is a hard drive crash on the server, Active Directory is backed up and also the server operating system. If there is a fire there is an additional backup to the cloud.

I use Acronis to backup my entire server for the entire business. I do this a few times a week. I also use Acronis to backup workstations so if something happens, I can restore a new hard drive in a matter of minutes instead of taking a whole day of reloading a new hard drive from scratch.

Acronis is used across the organization but it is used by the information technology department. We have over 300 PCs and many servers in different locations. We use it to create an image and deploy them as well as backup each machine. Many C level executives see IT as a cost center. So I think having a product that can cut costs is always a great idea. It addresses the never ending strain on IT's support time on machine issues caused by virus, malware or software issues. It helps defend the IT department in the cost center arena. Acronis is a robust product that is easy and simple to use.

Acronis makes the backup and recovery process a breeze supporting restore to dissimilar hardware for emergency repairs when the original server is not available. This is an excellent tool not only for servers where it is instrumental for disaster recovery but also on workstations where it helps keep us up and running as needed. Few tools are easier to use for backups.

I briefly used it to back up several computers using W7 and XP.
I did not use it again because it did not work well with several of the XP machines and locked up or did not complete a full backup. So I decided to not purchase it after the trial.

We're using Acronis Backup & Recovery to ensure the integrity of our system's data and those of the clients we are privileged to serve. There's many backup solutions, but we have relied on Acronis for both backup and pulling data from systems that are otherwise unbootable. It's proven to be an invaluable tool.

We use Acronis Backup & Recovery within our managed services package. It allows us to deploy the backup software to workstations and servers in our internal and client networks. We normally setup the system to do a image backup to local storage nightly and replicate a copy of the backup to our private cloud.

We used Acronis as a cheaper alternative to many other backup services we offer. This came in handy for a client who needs offsite data backup, but is unwilling to pay for a better, imaged based solution. We only have two customers on this solution. We don't plan on using it going forward.

Acronis is used across departments in our organization for backup of smaller server installs and workstations. It is not our enterprise DR solution but it plays a role in the overall strategy.

We use Acronis Backup & Recovery for critical PCs in our organization. We have several PCs that provide unique business services - communication with government portals and verification services that if their setup was lost would be very damaging to the organization. Also we have several locations and one has a database that is critical to that location's operations, we backup the entire machine so we could run it as a VM for disaster recovery.

It is currently being used by only the IT department to deploy and image new work laptops. We have tried some other products but they are no where near as quick and easy to deploy as Acronis is. We have used this for many years and will continue to use it for many years.

We use Acronis to perform daily incremental backups of the various workstations within the office to a central server and then use it to perform a weekly backup of the server to off site storage for redundancy. We schedule the backups to run after hours to reduce the impact on the workstations, server, and network/internet bandwidth from impeding work. This allows for peace of mind in that if something does go wrong, a file is deleted/overwritten, or something more catastrophic happens we will likely be able to recover the data or at least a recent version with little loss.
