We work remotely and use office space to book desks for when we go into the office.
  • Easy to book a desk
  • Provides a blueprint of the office
  • Transparent availability for what's available at any given time
  • Not able to view history of desk
  • Not able to see when a desk will be available at the hourly level
It is perfect for hybrid work. If there are no assigned desks, you can book a desk for however long you need to use it. It tells you which desks are occupied and by whom so you can know where to book a desk.
  • Ability to book a desk at any of our offices in the world
  • Real-time availability
  • Ability to schedule a desk by the hour
  • A mobile app that I could use to book a desk on the go
  • Improved our ability to work hybrid
  • When our entire team needed to go in, it helped us be able to book desks near each other
  • Gives a lot of flexibility. We can book a desk in any city in the world that is available.

OfficeSpace is used to organize the office. It is used for folks to know where their desk is, help them find other meetings, and, most importantly, locate conference rooms and be a guide for emergency situations to know where certain people should be. It is also very helpful for hotdesk booking when employees travel to different offices.
  • Ease of use.
  • Detail within the application.
  • Ability to request hot desking.
  • Lacks some higher-end features.
  • Does not remember the last location you looked at.
  • Does not have a request change feature by a user.
I would recommend OfficeSpace; I think it gets the job done exactly how it needs to. They will continue to develop around certain areas that need improvement, but overall it is a great product. I think that it will ultimately come down to cost when purchasing this or an alternative.
  • Helps people find conference rooms.
  • Helps people find each other for meetings.
  • Gives an understanding of layouts and plans in offices around the world.
Space IQ is a decent alternative and again like I said I think it comes down to price. Their features are very similar and it is just what is going to provide the best value internally for you and how you can see it implemented with interactions for the rest of your tech stack.
Useability is right up there, some of the graphics seem a little outdated and could be updated, but navigating the maps and models is easy and you get a really clear view of the different buildings and levels within those buildings. Overall, as a user this a great tool!
I don't have too much experience to speak to here in terms of their support. But from what I have heard it is excellent, they are extremely willing to listen consider adapting their product based on suggestions. Overall, I would not see there being any issue from a support standpoint.

We are currently using OfficeSpace for desk assignments, hotel desking, and floor plans. IT is responsible for the management of the system, Workplace has the same power minus billing, and our EA team is responsible for scheduling desk moves. This helps everyone find where their desks are, allows people to book a temporary desk, and allows our new hire team to place IT equipment and swag at desks prior to new hires starting.
  • Desk moves -- When assigning a desk to a new user, or shuffling existing users around
  • Floor plans -- Easily find rooms, desks, and coworkers
  • Cannot update floor plans on your own. Need to send to account rep
  • Move managers definitely need to be trained on how to do things properly
OfficeSpace Software is a system that crosses departments. It is especially helpful for workplace/facilities departments, as the available stats and feature sets are more suited towards their use. We also like that this system empowers the EA team in that they are the ones with the responsibility of placing hires at their desks.
  • Booking hotel desks is very easy
  • Scheduling moves is very easy
We used Teem for hotel desking in the past, and it was a complete failure. They had zero analytics available, and the interface was unbelievably clunky. Feedback for OfficeSpace has been nothing short of positive.
Support is happy to help at any time. If there are bulk tasks, they are more than willing to do them for you. The staff is super-friendly, and they like to check with you occasionally to let you know about feature updates. I have never hesitated to contact them with any of my needs and questions.

OfficeSpace is being used throughout the association. Everything from the visual directory, move management, or even wayfinding. We run our space allocation reports for finance, update executive management on their space utilization and to for long-term planning. We plan on implementing the helpdesk feature this year. OfficeSpace is our one-stop shop.
  • Works with active directory very well.
  • Ease of use and the graphics
  • Customer service is phenomenal
  • CADD update assistance!
  • Accessing some of the back of the house tools could be a bit more intuitive.
  • Improving the printing features. Its important to be able to zoom in and print small areas more easily
We are a small non-profit and this software really works. It gives us all the features we need.
  • Move management
  • Visual directory
  • Search features
  • Reporting
  • Up to date floor plans
  • Wayfinding
  • OfficeSpace has significantly minimized the amount of time (days) I use to spend on space allocation reporting.
By far OfficeSpace is the BEST solution for us. The staff also love it.

After reviewing many software products dealing with space management and finding they either were too intensive or too expensive or both, I found OfficeSpace. It had all the features I needed as well as a very comfortable price.

After 7 years, I am still very happy with the product and recommend it to anyone who asks.

Our whole organization uses OfficeSpace to find where people are seated, their phone number, or e-mail address. We have 7 offices worldwide and all have access to OfficeSpace. I use it to keep track of work orders, moves, and space utilization. OfficeSpace helps us determine department moves, occupancy ratios, and facility assets.

In an organization of 600+ employees, OfficeSpace has become a necessary part of our business, so glad we have it. By the way, their Customer Service is outstanding.

  • Very easy to learn and use - was up and running after only 1 hour of training.
  • Department can be color coded so it is easy to determine the correct utilization.
  • Customer Service is outstanding - when you need it (which is rarely) you usually get a call or e-mail within 2 hours.
  • They listen to you - they are always updating the software and value the feedback they get from their customers
  • They use the cloud - updates are automatic
  • The only thing I can think of is possibly a communication from the company on updates and possibly best practices
OfficeSpace is an easy to use, easy to learn, very user friendly software. It is not a CAD type of software but a down to earth program that has all the tools most facility/property managers need to run efficient space management.
  • I feel the software paid for itself in the mere fact that I could use this company wide with easy lookup of employees names, numbers, e-mails etc. A real time saver.
I felt OfficeSpace met the needs of our company. Other competitors had features that our company would not use so why pay more for something you are not going to use? I truly like the idea of being in the cloud. Bugs are fixed quickly and it is very easy to get on line with support to review a problem to quickly learn a new feature.
