Overall Satisfaction with Acumatica
Inventory Management, Sales Order Processing, Returns Management, Accounting functions, Purchasing, Payment Processing, currently converting to Acumatica Payments from REPAY.
Overall it is a great tool but we had to enhance the pricing model to work for our business. We are facing challenges with moving to Acumatica payments but the issues are now being addressed and hopefully we will be able to upgrade to 2023 R2 in the coming week. We are currently on an unsupported version and have noticed a number of glitches recently that no one can help with as we are out of support.
I think the product itself is great and has a lot of potential but one the things I really dislike is the number of steps it takes to add a new product. We have had our consultants build an upload tool but it is still 5 steps built in with the advanced pricing engine customization. The system run time can be slow which causes the team frustration when running dynamic searches and we do not have extensive amounts of data.

- Sales Order process on the whole is easy to use and understand
- Purchasing and Payables is efficient
- I would like a better way of entering products.
- Added functionality of being able to change orders once they are in shipping status. We can't add items in to a sales order once some of the items are ready to ship, we have to create a new SO, we don't use project accounting so we don't have the ability to add change orders to the same project.
- Would love to be able to produce Pro forma invoices without having to use the project accounting function.
- Right now we appear to spending more and more on Acumatica and although we like the system, I am not seeing the full cost benefit yet. Investment is higher than we would like but I feel we are only tapping into 20% of its functionality that can help our business.
- Everything needs a customization and it either costs in Acumatica or to our partner and often it takes time for us to realize the benefits.

It doesn't really, but we have adapted it as we have gone along. There are not many companies that operate within our industry and there is not one solution that fits all but given Acumatica is flexible, it has allowed us to adapt it to our business.
I inherited Acumatica when I joined the company but I can tell you that it is more flexible than SAP and Oracle and is built for the SME. It is more user-friendly for sure but the Challenge I find is that is sometimes you want it to work more like the big ERP without it taking 50 people to fix a small problem like would happen in SAP.
