Overall Satisfaction with Adaptive Suite

  • In the cloud, requires no software updates.
  • Interface is very similar to Excel, so very familiar.
  • Discovery dials are easy to design and easy to understand.
[It's] Used by entire finance department as well as operational management. It addresses the problem of analysing data across our multiple legal entities, enabling us to gain insights and view data across a variety of different contexts.
  • Ability to create on-the-fly reports, and easily change the way the report presents
  • Compare period-to-period and version-to-version results
  • Automation of input of actual financial data, as well as key non-financial indicators
  • When large amounts of data are loaded, the system tends to slow down as there are so many re-calculations required for each line of data
  • Budgeting and forecasting cycle reduced from months to weeks
  • Month end reporting has become significantly more detailed and allows for greater analysis (rather than just compilation of numbers)

Reporting has become more standardised, and allows users to self-serve results, rather than wait for someone from finance to send them results.

More time for strategic analysis, less time on compiling month end reports, and much less time on compiling and creating annual budget spreadsheets. Has allowed us to implement monthly rolling forecasts.
Well suited where lots of Excel spreadsheets are being used, and enhanced level of analysis is required.
