Overall Satisfaction with Adobe Photoshop

What one can do with Photoshop is unlimited. We chose Adobe Photoshop because our company's funds are limited. Photoshop can be used to create just about anything. We used Adobe Photoshop for a simple one page ad, 3D logo and background creation to create a full-blown wall mural. But primarily, we use Photoshop for photo-editing.
  • Photoshop Action - I especially love the "Action" capabilities whether it is using the default Action created by Photoshop creators or define and create your own. Create once and simply click on the Action to do its job. It is perfect for repetition of tasks.
  • Photoshop Layers is powerful whether editing a photo or creating a new project. Layers allow you to save the original while working on the copy. You can organize your ideas into layers so you can choose to either hide or show without creating multiple files.
  • Photoshop History - to err is human. Photoshop History's saves time when you decide that you wanted to go back to the last couple of steps.
  • Photoshop History, for improvement, how about allow it to keep it to 50-60 "undo's"?
  • Loading Speed - the fancier Photoshop is, the longer it takes to load. How about make loading time faster?
  • Photoshop help increased employee efficiency. For example, Photoshop Action, after creating it, it just takes 1-click to perform a task instead of multiple steps.
  • Quicker turn around time when creating projects for customers (because helps is available).
  • Faster editing for customer because of Photoshop's layering capabilities.
I was asked to evaluate a photo-editing software when I got hired at my company. I downloaded Adobe Photoshop and have used only Photoshop ever since. I like Photoshop so I don't think I'll switch to anything else.
I have used Adobe Photoshop for so long, that it would take a way better product to get me switch to something else. If I were to buy something better, I would just buy all the latest versions of Adobe products. In my years of experience with my Adobe products, all of the upgrades are always better than earlier versions. I am happy with what Photoshop can do and I am sticking to it.
Photoshop is expensive, but after buying multiple software packages, Photoshop itself should be sufficient. Photoshop can be used to create multiple projects not just for photo-editing. Photoshop also provides plenty of help support either via Photoshop Help or you can simply Google it. There are plenty of tutorials on how to use Photoshop for beginners and experts.
