Overall Satisfaction with Apricot by Social Solutions
My organization uses Apricot to store demographic information and assessment results for our participants. As our programs are mostly grant-based, we use the Apricot to pull reports to provide data to our funders. We also use it to compile information to share with staff on how to improve services as as a measure of performance.
- Simple, useful search functions
- More intuitive/user-friendly than previous databases we have used
- Attractive appearance
- Being able to duplicate reports (or sections of reports) so you don't have to recreate them by hand
- Being able to hide deactivated users/groups
- More FAQ to refer to
- Funders appreciate/need the data, so our department stays in operation
- Staff have benefitted from seeing data for areas of growth and also affirm program strengths/progress
I am not sure what is meant by "scale program delivery" but Apricot has allowed us to provide measurable outcomes and keep our programs going. We recently shared data pulled from Apricot from pre and post surveys all our participants completed, and the staff were able to see the progress and areas of growth, which was very satisfying.
Yes I believe we have maintained our funding streams, though I have very limited contact with funders. I am the user support and troubleshooter for the Apricot users. With respect to securing more diversified funding streams I am unsure of that as well.
- ODM and Procentive
I was not the person who selected Apricot. It is much more user friendly than ODM. The look is also much more appealing to the eye than ODM. Feedback from users has been a lot more positive, the system is just more intuitive and the search options help reduce duplicates a lot. I use Procentive in much different capacity at a different job/role, so I can't really compare them.
