Overall Satisfaction with Arena

Mainly used throughout engineering, quality, and operation. Marketing will use very little to control collateral. The rest of the company will use it for training only.
  • Flexible
  • Easy to use
  • Training management is difficult. In the training world, there should be a "my assignments" button. The dashboard is too crowded and people who do not use it regularly often get confused.
  • Configuration management does not exist
  • Hard to quantify as we released our one product before we set up Arena. More of the cost was saved with implementation. The IQ and OQ docs were done well enough that our PQ was very light.

Prior experience is huge as it limits downtime to start up.
Very easy to deploy. The execution was weeks and documentation took longer but it was not Arena's fault.
Only looked at Arena because of the number of employees with prior experience. However, other people in the office have said that it is way easier to use than others.
Well suited for BoM control and change management. Not good for configuration management.
