Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT
We use NXT for Accounts Payable and various general ledger and accounts payable reporting mostly. We are currently working on implementing deposits and payments so that we can eventually do more of our bank reconciliation through NXT. We love that we can upload documents and attach them to invoices. This is very helpful especially during audits. NXT is easily navigated and very user friendly.

- allow for editing invoice details such as description that do not affect the General Ledger
- Being able to upload attachments to invoice records is a huge time saver.
- The ease of creating reports is also a time saver.
We have not yet explored the grant side of NXT to see how it will help us with managing and invoicing for our grants and programs. This is something we plan to investigate in the near future. Once we get into that, I will have a better idea of how this will improve our program and grant management.
We still use the database frequently for general ledger listings, income statements, and balance sheets. We use NXT for extracting data specific to a project or an account number.
In my previous employment, I used Yardi products. I believe NXT is much more user friendly and has the ability to adapt to business changes. It is also easier to extract specific data and reporting.

Yes, during printing of 1099's last year. The print was not lining up correctly with the forms and the support staff quickly helped me resolve the issue and was able to complete the task within the hour. They walked me step by step in finding the issue, which was the printer set up and fixed is quickly. I was super happy as that task is one of my least favorites to do.
