Overall Satisfaction with Blackbaud Financial Edge NXT
We have used Financial Edge since 2012. The software allows us to do all of the traditional accounting tasks as well as those tasks that are specific to non-profit organizations.
The product worked very well in its traditional platform but has had some major communication and roll-out issues since moving toward having a web-based platform. I hope they will improve communication as well as product development.
The cost of the software is very high which makes it a barrier to use for small organizations.

Compliance efforts are strictly dictated by the users set up of users and their individual access.
I have taken several courses on dashboards and still am unable to use them efficiently.
We selected Financial Edge NXT because we already used Raiser's Edge for our donor database.
