Overall Satisfaction with BlueJeans Meetings
BlueJeans was adopted as an interim measure to bridge the gap between differing internal technologies during a period of significant infrastructure renewal globally across all teams and locations. This included plug-ins to Outlook and Salesforce alongside adoption of the mobile app. It was the default option for all meetings internally and externally.
- Ability to record meetings of inly a single person to use as training tools.
- Mobile phone & calendar integration.
- Hard to tell if this was an internal issue with our technology but the salesforce add-in caused problems.
- Ability to choose default meetings numbers was counter-intuitive.
- The inherent ability to customise the user experience is both a blessing and a curse depending upon the tech familiarity of users.
- Showing my age but when used solely as a telephone conferencing tool a beep / signal that people have joined/left would be helpful.
- BlueJeans was simply a replacement for legacy technology but hasn't fundamentally altered use cases or working patterns.
I found BlueJeans easy to use and very intuitive however I use the system for exclusively internal facing meetings within the organisation meaning I only ever do BlueJeans:BlueJeans meetings. In this regards the system has been flawless and I have no complaints. Other teams have complained of difficulties in using the system where the other party is using dedicated VC hardware.
Typically the audio quality I experience is dreadfully compromised by the speakers in my laptop which means no matter how good the digital input it is still going to sound fairly average.
Do you think BlueJeans Meetings delivers good value for the price?
Not sure
Are you happy with BlueJeans Meetings's feature set?
Yes
Did BlueJeans Meetings live up to sales and marketing promises?
I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process
Did implementation of BlueJeans Meetings go as expected?
I wasn't involved with the implementation phase
Would you buy BlueJeans Meetings again?
Yes
It is in practice very similar to other conferencing solutions used, Skype, Teams, Lync - the differentiation from my end user perspective is reasonably limited.
