Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce
This is our HCM and payroll system. Ceridian automates both our payroll and benefits administration, and allows great reporting on employee and payroll data especially. We also use it in onboarding but the employee upload is somewhat difficult and timely compared to other systems. The automated payroll features make it worth it though and have saved us a lot of time.

Ceridian has helped us to maintain compliance with multistate payroll laws, multiple variations on paid holidays per location, overtime laws in different states, administration for union employees vs. non-union employees, and benefits eligibility and tracking, and well as year-end mandated tasks such as OSHA and PPACA reporting.
Ceridian makes all employee management easy, from initial hire to employee management, promotions, transfers, up to employee termination or retirement. The capabilities of the system have increased our productivity and allowed us to innovate by thinking of new customizations or even better and faster ways to solve issues, especially with the help of custom reporting to audit anything from holiday pay to union status.
ADP Workforce Now is the system we used prior and that I still use for other consulting services, and this system falls far inferior to the functionality of Ceridian Dayforce especially in terms of payroll processing and delivery but also in other aspects like benefits, employee profile management, and access permissions.
