Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

We use it for all companies and departments in our organization. It helped us process payroll in 4 provinces for about 7 legal entities.
  • Easy for employees to log in and request time off
  • Ease of reconciling payroll for payroll staff
  • Ease of reconciling T4s and taxable benefits at year end.
  • Job costing is difficult when you have employees that work on different jobs and at times outside of jobs such as an overhead role.
  • The export of data to accounting systems is easy, but it does not include as much info as we would prefer.
  • The support team takes a while to respond and they always want to charge a fee for any tweaks or corrections.
  • It has allowed us to indirectly save through increased productivity. We have added many more employees to the organization with minimal increases in payroll staffing.
  • It has streamlined leave approvals.
All our employee policies and on boarding is done through Dayforce, it allows us to track everything and make sure employees know how to get information.
We are easily able to run compensation reports to determine raises and entitlements.
We did everything manually and in different ERP systems before Dayforce. It has streamlined our onboarding, T4 issuance and taxable benefits.
Ceridian Dayforce would likely be beneficial for all industries; we use it in property management, construction, development and retail settings.
