Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

We use Ceridian's Dayforce through out our company for on-boarding, benefits, payroll and self service. It is used by our Training Department, Finance, Human Resources and Payroll.

Pros

  • Dayforce can be configured for our company and using our polices and procedures.
  • Payroll can be updated and recalculated over and over again before I submit to ensure it is correct and changes have been entered correctly.
  • Payroll audit reports are incredibly helpful and I run and audit them with HR before I submit payroll.

Cons

  • Reporting takes some work and practice. Dayforce has changed the way we build reports and I am hoping that I will be able to create complicated reports.
  • Dayforce requires a lot of maintenance as changes are made and we have to be mindful of what others are creating and how they affect other modules.
  • Self service for our employees has helped us save on manual form entries.
  • Running real time calculations has helped us with auditing.
Companies should be prepared to take the time to get their policies, procedures, and organizational structure exactly where they want in order to implement Dayforce. It should be a very thoughtful and organized process. Companies need to be willing to spend the man hours and preparation to get the most out of Dayforce.
