Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce

We use Ceridian Dayforce primarily for Payroll, however we are now venturing into the other modules like learning, recruiting and performance management. We use it ensure accurate calculation and reporting of payroll. Benefits are also managed and sent to our 3rd party provider via export. We have high turnover and the hire and termination process are key in helping us process hundreds of seasonal workers in one pay period.
  • Communication, training and release management
  • Legislative reporting
  • reports
  • Reporting specifically holding our custom created fields for us
  • End user (not system user) gui - getting better with HUB etc
  • Dashboards
  • we reduce manual steps to hire by 20
  • we eliminated paper in our office and at home offices
  • we improved accuracy of ROE's
We use entitlements to set the vacation, wellness and volunteer days. There is a balance report for the managers to review before end of year. We also have a carryover entitlement to automate anything rolling over to the next year. When we have provincial garnishments, we use that screen to ensure compliance.
So far, it has primarily been a payroll system, we are just learning how to implement other modules to improve the HR data and real time data information access.
Seamless integration going forward will help us make decisions faster and allow the managers to make key decisions

Do you think Dayforce delivers good value for the price?

Yes

Are you happy with Dayforce's feature set?

Yes

Did Dayforce live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Dayforce go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Dayforce again?

Yes

I feel that Ceridian Dayforce is a very powerful tool for the payroll and HR user. It consolidates and reports information effectively, however the amount of information presented is very complex. End user experience (eg: Mgr and ee's) is also a little cumbersome at the moment but is steadily improving with items like HUB.
