Overall Satisfaction with Ceridian Dayforce HCM

Across the whole organization with time and attendance (WFM) being the first modules launched. We are now moving towards the full suite of programs. Document management then performance management plus Onboarding next.
  • It provides a mobile app that gives information previously held by HR in the managers' and employees' hands.
  • It has reduced the number of tracking spreadsheets by holding data for updating and reporting on.
  • It has given us the start to more powerful analytics.
  • Performance management needs some added functionality. It will do for now however our growing level of sophistication with the system may outpace the improvements coming.
  • There needs to be greater clarity about the best practices required for the onboarding development and use.
  • The document management interface should have been easy to build even with consulting help what appeared to be simple didn't work out that way.
  • Internal cost savings on time off requests alone were possible in the thousands of dollars with simple online implementation.
  • Paper reduced for time sheet submission as the majority of employees now use online or mobile submission.
  • Paperless personnel files via document management have made for efficiency and transparency for all employees. It has also provided an accurate record of completed training due to the ability to view training certificates.
Yes, minor in our world as we work from Canada. Not the same level of detail as it appears in the US.
I actually have the access I need in most cases right in front of me - globally. With cell data for mobile or online for the software itself. This means faster access to data thus more efficiency for decisions. I am never removed from the details I need if I am out of the office or across the globe.

It was the best scalable solution for our size of organization yet robust enough to provide the ROI we wanted. We demo'ed another system that only looked good on the surface - when we dug in it was run by multiple apps from companies I had no knowledge of.
It is well suited for 200+ organizations that require more indepth knowledge of their employees.
