We are using Cisco Catalyst Switches to build a modern, reliable, scalable, and secure LAN. This network needs to be flexible to accommodate our organization's needs and business demands. Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series Switches perfectly address these requirements by extending the intent-based networking and simplifying the deployment of advanced technologies. From our current experience, we note that the Cisco Catalyst 9200 Series demonstrates a cost-effective solution as an access switch for sales offices, branches, or big production environments.
- Resilient power and component redundancy
- Hot-swapping uplinks
- Access layer
- The pricing--2960X cost less
- DNA licensing model is not easy, and you cannot buy the switch without a subscription.
- We have a stable production process and less downtime.
- Easy to refresh and deploy, fewer FTEs and working hours
Hardware and configuration maintenance is much easier with DNA. We are not using automated device provisioning and SD-Access programmability yet, but actively looking into these opportunities.
