Overall Satisfaction with Cisco Meeting Server

We use it as an of our collaboration tool for meetings and video conferences. A lot of different solutions are available, cause of our dependencies with Cisco products, like network hardware and so on. It's a pretty obvious option to use Cisco Meeting Server as the default solution. We have different types of Webex boards in our meeting rooms, and it's working fine together. A lot of options, scalability, and security features.
  • Videoconferencing
  • Collaboration (whiteboards)
  • Meetings in person (f2f)
  • Connectivity can be problem, disconnects
  • Speed sometimes slow
  • Not so easy to use (settings)
  • More meetings came in, but in more efficient way
  • More features are available in our meetings
  • More connections to the colleagues through Cisco Meeting Server
Both are good ones. We use them both in our daily work. The interface of MS Teams is a bit more modern for me, but it's much more complex to use too. I personally prefer Cisco Meeting Server, but technically I can't decide; they offer pretty much the same for office work.

Do you think Cisco Meeting Server delivers good value for the price?

Not sure

Are you happy with Cisco Meeting Server's feature set?

Yes

Did Cisco Meeting Server live up to sales and marketing promises?

I wasn't involved with the selection/purchase process

Did implementation of Cisco Meeting Server go as expected?

I wasn't involved with the implementation phase

Would you buy Cisco Meeting Server again?

No

Well, for a meeting or conference with a large number of participants, it's good and works pretty well from my point of view. But for, let's say, minor meetings, like one-on-ones, face-to-face meetings, it's maybe too much, too complex, and not so easy to use. For the latter, a simple Webex call is much easier.
