Overall Satisfaction with CMiC Construction Platform

It is being used for document viewing, checklist completing, and photo documentation. Department-wide. It addresses the business problem of having multiple different software programs being used. The goal of CMiC within our company is to integrate all processes and have a one-stop application that handles all tasks required for the project.

Worse than all 3. PlanGrid: Smoother use than CMiC. The way it is formatted and shows the plans in order is the best. CMiC shows plans in the order they were uploaded instead of plan order (A100, A101, etc.). Procore: Same reason as PlanGrid. It just feels as though CMiC's plan viewing experience is not very good. It seems like something that very little time was put into to create. Submittal Exchange: Currently, I do not use CMiC for the function I use SE for, so I cannot compare these two right now.
I give it this rating because I think it works very well for some things. The things it works well for are checklist management, photo management, and document management. The thing I do not like it for is drawing viewing/management. It is very slow and not very efficient/advanced. We are continuing to roll it out for more features so hopefully; it will perform well for these.

For our company, CMiC is beneficial for the different checklists we do: safety audits, SWPPP audits, toolbox talks, etc. This way, the platform is the admin for us, instead of us needing an employee to collect and publish the individual checklists for each job. Also, the platform is good for storing photos.
