Use Cases and Deployment Scope

Cofense LMS was received as a bundled package to us as a part of the entire phishing suite to the corporation. The major case LMS was able to resolve for us was the trainings for Mail and other security awareness that we need to assign to different business verticals post our phishing campaigns.

Pros and Cons

Assigning comprehensive trainings from a wide list of options available
Segregating the different vertical groups in the business and assigning them the relevant training
Tracking the completion status of user training and Quizzes

UI can be more interactive
Segregating the users in different groups can be further automated via AD details
The end user mobile notification feature should be there rather than only mail.

The overall phishing and protection suite by Cofense is super effective to tackle and improve the phishing campaigns and mitigate the on going attacks. Other LMS are available in the market as a standalone option but LMS along with the other products from the Cofense suite makes it a great option to choose.

LMS is a more appropriate choice to be used if the organization is large and has multiple verticals where the trainings differ to a great etent from vertical to another vertical. However if the company is a small scale org with limited hierarchy, any open source portal is enough to serve the purpose.
