Overall Satisfaction with Cube

Use Cube for all of our Sage actual reporting as well as all forward looking financial forecats (rolling monthly, budgets, long term plans)
  • Publishing data for forecasts
  • Intergrate with ERP for Actuals
  • Customer Support
  • Some formatting of how data is pulled should be able to be pre formatted
  • Better dashboards (think PowerBI or Tableau)
  • A project mgmt tool is essential for FP&A - eg. tracking progress of budgets etc
  • One source of truth for financial actuals and forecasts
Prefer Cube but mainly due to my new company being early stage start up and moving away from excel was not the answer

Best suited for businesses not ready or looking to move away from excel. Its super intuitive if you even have basic pivot table knowledge meaning you can get the rest of the non finance teams transitioned and using it really quickly.

Not super easy to track changes or manage forecasting projects like budgets to see who has published and who needs chasing.
