Overall Satisfaction with CVViZ

Any employer who's carried out ongoing recruitment in the past soon learns that it's a full-time role itself. CVViZ has helped me streamline my efforts and reduce time wasted in disqualifying candidates, shortlisting and testing candidates, and the job posting and candidate management aspect. My team members can use and access the central dashboard, too, so we can be on the same page without going through Gsheets and word docs. One of the best features of this platform is that it allows you to post out to multiple job boards from a central dashboard! This is a massive time saver. There are discounted credits available for job boards which makes it pay for itself straight away! Furthermore, this is a platform with numerous automation features (we are still learning about these), which help to streamline recruitment and candidate selection processes. Overall, CvViz is a massive time saver.

  • The mobile experience specifically for job posting is lacking. Some of the drop-down elements don't appear in mobile view.
  • The 'add candidate to database' section via web shouldn't have qualification as a mandatory field. Not all qualifications are standardized so it limits searching.
  • You can only post by local currency which can be an issue if you're looking to recruit freelancers from other countries as you can't attract them via their local currency.

CvViz is more suited to technical roles. You can run video interviews and tests where you can observe the practical skills of applicants i.e getting developers to code/debug. It's also good for verbal communication skills testing i.e recording role play with prospective sales employees. The downside is that you can't really use this to test the project management skills of prospects, but that isn't a failing of CvViz specifically, it's more about the lack of virtual recruitment tests for this space.
