Overall Satisfaction with Dovetail User Research
We use Dovetail to compile all of our CX, Products and Sales user research so it's accessible to all the teams to influence our roadmaps and commercial strategies.
The ability to store surveys, videos and transcripts together in projects is very useful and viewing them forms part of new staff onboarding.
Additionally, we have used Dovetail as a way to store user / high-value customer interviews to demonstrate our product-market fit to potential investors during the Due diligence process to obtain external funding.

- Make access possible per project rather than whole account
- Embedded video is often choppy
- Transcribe software is behind new (free) AI tools in market
- Easy to share
- Good account access structure
- Integrations (not that we use many)
- Saved us 10+ hours of DD work during fundraise
- saves a good 15+ hour per new staff member onboard of current team time
- quality of life vs having multiple google drives that nobody will look at
