Yes - Vue Storefront was the product we were using for our headless commerce and building the frontend. Now we have switched to Experro for its intuitive and better ease-of-use.

No, I didn't have to since their customer support is free of cost and available 25x5.
While integrating the theme in our product, we were asked to refer to the 'Theme documentation' resource. However, we are not that technically sound. Hence we connected with their support team and they promptly responded to our queries with the help of their developers.
