Use Cases and Deployment Scope

It is being used on a team-by-team basis. My current team also uses Slack due to some lacking functionality within HipChat.

Pros and Cons

HipChat allows for easy communications to one or more users along with setting up groups.

The ability to sign into multiple teams/groups is the only reason we use Slack more often than HipChat.
Free desktop sharing would be nice.
