Overall Satisfaction with IBM Cloud Object Storage
IBM Cloud [Object] Storage has been useful in testing concepts of cloud technology -- While there are many trainings available, these concepts do not become "real" until you get your hands around an actual environment. IBM Cloud [Object] Storage provides that safe secure testing environment where you can make your own exploration and experiments without fear of breaking anything important. It also allows you to convert to production when you get to that point of your maturity.
- Friendly interface
- Fast response
- Consistent terminology

- None identified yet -- need to start measuring
- Learning costs have gone down
- Confidence is developed among finishers
I haven't used the IBM Cloud SQL Query -- but we plan to do this once we obtain ethical approval to upload our data (clinical). Working with clinical data requires more rigor in seeking approval and in controlling risks for re-identification. On the other hand, log data can be used immediately and we are looking for the right dataset for that business case --
I didnt know Aspera can provide this service. We will explore this since we already have tremendous amounts of "cold" data that can be archived . I hope that this technology can help us manage our ever-growing image data -
Not yet but this tiering is very important for healthcare institutions like ours. By being able to classify data according to activity, we will be able to avail of the cost savings benefit of IBM Cloud [Object] Storage --
- Amazon Elastic Block Store (EBS)

- IBM Cloud Starter Kits
I am just now using the starter (learning) kits --
