Use Cases and Deployment Scope

I use IIBM Cognos Analyticss for pulling reports on a daily basis like Missing Pages Report, Query Report which helps the business or the study team to know the current status of the study and by that data creating a structured outline of actions that need to be done to resolve that data. It really helps to reach the outcomes that we need and by anaylzing the data we can know where we are lacking. I think it is most advance system and easy to use system in my deliverables.

Pros and Cons

Extracting huge amount of data in a precise manner.
The time taken to get a report is pretty less compares to other
And the automation and the AI is really advanced the system knows what I really want

If a report got malfunctioned it need so much time to resolve that issue.
Server Log out issue if using two study at a time
Sometimes the data analytics part stuck in between

With the analytics tool it is very helpful to know the current status

Alternatives Considered

Medidata Rave EDC

The AI and the automation in IBM Cognos Analytics are pretty simple to use and almost provide accurate data. The report part compared to the Medidata Rave is always efficient and error-proof I got the reports nearly 90 percent. The analysis is pretty good I actually got the outcome that I wanted to produce.

Self-Service

They helped a lot like I am now used to accessing the reports or data I want directly from the dashboard. The parameter selection and the feature to formatting the data is really helpful in day-to-day deliverable. The language use is understandable.The analytics part is so accurate even it is matched the data after manual analysis.

In the research field, the security of the data is the top priority thing and I think IBM Cognos Analytics is very reliable with security of the data.Like the Read, only access feature in IBM is top notch it really help for auditing purpose and the quality of the data is excellent.

This section really helpful in my daily deliverables. With the parameters option Its been really helpful to get the personalized report which really helps and the automation to pull the report is really helpful I can get a customized report as I want the Main part in Sub Part is really helped to differentiate the data

Like after the updates I am able to pull a report with a different parameter and it's been beneficial to get extracted specific data. And with the data analytics tables, it's been beneficial to present the data. And the one drawback I have seen when the full report is run in the background version it fails sometimes.
