Overall Satisfaction with Infusionsoft

Infusionsoft is a customer relationship management system and marketing automation solution. It enables sales teams to track interaction with their prospects and clients. It also tracks all contact interaction with your online assets. So you can use it to track viewing and clicking emails, completing web forms and making a purchase. (Infusionsoft has e-commerce features that are fully integrated.) We use the CRM to manage sales opportunities and track our sales funnel. We manage our lead magnets and tripwire sales with it in conjunction with our email nurture campaigns.
  • Infusionsoft is excellent for email marketing. In addition to the features you come to expect from MailChimp and Constant Contact, it has a workflow tool called Campaign Builder that enables you to change email sequences based on the contacts behavior. If the contact clicks on a link in your email, downloads another asset from your website or interacts with your sales team, you can segment the contact and change what you send them next. This is great for building automated marketing campaigns
  • Infusionsoft, using several available add-on products such as Memberium, iMember360, AccessAlly and several others, is a great platform for managing Wordpress membership websites. You get all the benefits of Infusionsoft tightly integrated with Infusionsoft event. So you can market to the contact, make content available to them and automate interaction with the contact.
  • Infusionsoft has an excellent opportunity management feature. It is NOT intended to compete with Salesforce. It's designed for a smaller sales team, usually fewer than 5. This working in conjunction with the Infusionsoft's email marketing is a powerful tool for automating sales teams and making them more efficient.
  • Infusionsoft has an excellent affiliate or referral partner feature. This enables you to simplify how partners promote your services. The e-commerce features enable you to track leads, sales, process payments and pay commissions.
  • Infusionsoft's e-commerce features are not intended to compete with Shopify or BigCommerce. It has a shopping cart feature that works if you don't have a large number of items to sell. It does NOT include features for tracking inventory, handling backorders, etc. They have order forms that work well for selling products of all kinds. If you want highly customized templates for your shopping cart, there are add-on products to help with this, but this is not its strong point.
  • Infusionsoft is not an easy to use, do-it-yourself tool that any business owner can pick up and use on their own. I have seen it sold that way from the stage. They'll introduce a business owner to a vision and tool that can benefit the business' marketing programs, but it does require outside expert help that will come at a price. It's a system that requires expertise and knowledge. It is not a do-it-yourself MailChip like product that you can pick up use effectively on your own.
  • Infusionsoft has made some good progress on improving their quoting and invoicing system. It's not where they are at their best. Those product features have been improved recently, but there's still a ways to go. There are add-on tools that fill in those gaps.
  • We are consultants that build membership websites for Infusionsoft users. We also work with businesses needing marketing sales funnels built. It's the platform we use to power these systems. Over 80% of our company revenue comes from working with clients in this space.
  • We use the tools to support our consulting and mastermind series sales funnels. It has been extremely effective for us.
Infusionsoft provides more features than either of these other solutions. Because it provides it's own CRM and E-Commerce features, it is more comprehensive in what it provides. These other solutions are solid in different areas where they provide similar features. For example, ClickFunnels has excellent landing page building features and Infusionsoft does NOT. ClickFunnels doesn't have E-Commerce so you cannot stop campaigns from running when a purchase is made.

Many will tell you these others are easier to use than Infusionsoft. This is likely because they didn't not invest in a good consultant to get them set up and trained properly. Also, because Infusionsoft has a more comprehensive set of features, it's more complicated by definition and harder to learn.
If you need to automate sale funnels using approaches promoted by an online marketer like Frank Kern, Jeff Walker, Perry Marshall and Ryan Deiss, Infusionsoft is a great tool for doing that. It requires investment in a good consultant to get this done efficiently. With the right expert team working with you, it's an excellent tool for automating your marketing funnels.
