Our organization uses Insightly to manage our contacts and to keep track of our correspondence with potential investors. Unlike private excel sheets, Insightly gives every member of our team access to past correspondence between our employees and our investors, as well as notes concerning contacts and organizations. Looking through those emails and notes allows us to more efficiently reach out to investors by giving insights into that investor or company. These insights range from what stage a given VC generally looks to invest in a company to the way an investor's name is properly pronounced. Having all correspondence laid out on Insightly also ensures that no two employees reach out to the same investor.
